Declaration - Information on the Processing of Personal Data

  1. RESPONSIBLE FOR PROCESSING

The Ministry of Finance/Recovery and Resilience Facility Coordination Agency (RRFA), based in Athens, 25 Panepistimiou Str., 10564 (website: greece20.gov.gr, tel. + 30 210-3338970, e-mail: rrfasupport@minfin.gr), informs you in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter GDPR) and the provisions of national law on the protection of personal data, in the capacity of controller, that it processes personal data within the framework of its responsibilities in order to fulfil its mission.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility Coordination Agency (RRFA) is an independent Public Service under the Minister of Finance. RRFA manages the website greece20.gov.gr, which is the official web portal for the National Recovery and Resilience Plan Greece 2.0. The personal data stated on the website greece20.gov.gr is used exclusively by it, for the purpose of supporting, promoting and executing its relationship with citizens (data subjects) or for statistical purposes.

The user/visitor of the website greece20.gov.gr is requested to read carefully the terms of personal data processing and to use/visit its services only if he/she fully accepts them.

 

  1. PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED AND PROCESSED

The Ministry of Finance/Recovery and Resilience Facility Coordination Agency (RRFA) collects and processes identification data, such as name and email address, in the context of managing and operating the website greece20.gov.gr.

 

  1. PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

The following services operate on the website greece20.gov.gr: a) a periodic electronic information service (newsletter) for news, calls for proposals and project announcements of the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) and b) a contact form, in which the user is asked to state his/her name and e-mail address. The personal data provided in this way are intended solely for the purpose of ensuring the operation of the above services and may not be used by any third party, without respecting the provisions of Law 2472/1997, Law 3471/2006 and the GDPR, as they are in force with their amendments, concerning the protection against the processing of personal data.

In addition, for any communication with the user/visitor of greece20.gov.gr by e-mail or other means, the Ministry of Finance/RRFA reserves the right to keep a record of this communication and to use any information provided to it in order to respond to any relevant request of the user/visitor or to protect its legitimate interests.

The Ministry of Finance/RRFA processes your personal data in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR on the basis of your consent. The purpose of personal data processing by the Ministry of Finance/RRFA in this case, is for sending the newsletter and answering to questions submitted through the contact form of the website.

 

  1. PERSONAL DATA RETENTION PERIOD

The Ministry of Finance/RRFA keeps your personal data for the period of time required to fulfill the purposes for which it processes them and in any case for the entire period of time provided by law, within which the State may exercise its powers or his rights or for as long as provided by law.

For the purpose of sending the newsletter, we keep your personal data for as long as you remain registered on our recipient list and we delete it in case you withdraw your consent.

The Ministry of Finance/RRFA in compliance with the current legal framework takes all necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the safe processing of your personal data, to ensure its protection against loss, leakage, alteration, transmission, access or other form of unlawful processing.

 

  1. RECIPIENTS OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The Ministry of Finance/RRFA may cooperate with third parties who provide it with technological support services and software systems, and other administrative or non-administrative systems and services, such as the General Secretariat for Information Systems of the Ministry of Digital Governance, which provides G-cloud hosting infrastructure to greece20.gov.gr. The Ministry of Finance/RRFA reserves the right to disclose to these persons information in the most -as far as possible- anonymous way, regarding personal data to the extent that this is related to the purpose of providing their services. In addition, software and application development consultants of greece20.gov.gr may use such information for the purpose of modifying, developing, improving and evaluating its technological infrastructure.

Cookies are being used for the management and improvement of services provided by greece20.gov.gr. Browsing the website requires your consent to the use of cookies, which is given in a pop-up window when you enter the website.

  1. To be informed about which personal data concerning you is kept and processed by the Ministry of Finance/RRFA and for which reason, as well as to receive additional information about their processing (right to information, Articles 12, 13 and 14 GDPR).
  2. To request free access to your personal data processed by the Ministry of Finance/RRFA (right of access, Art. 15 GDPR).
  3. To request the rectification of inaccurate personal data and the completion of incomplete information (right to rectification, Art. 16 GDPR).
  4. To request the erasure of your personal data under conditions and subject to the limitations of paragraph 3 of Article 17 GDPR (right to erasure, Art. 17 GDPR).
  5. To request the restriction of processing of your personal data under conditions (right to restriction of processing, Art. 18 GDPR).
  6. To object to the processing of your personal data under the conditions of the law (right to object, Art. 21 GDPR).

The Ministry of Finance/RRFA must reply no later than one month after receiving your request. This period may be extended -under certain conditions- by a further two months, in which case we will inform you within one month of receipt of any extension and the reasons for delay.

In some cases and under the conditions of the law it may not be possible to satisfy your requests.

8A. WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT

In any case, you have the right to withdraw your consent to your inclusion in the newsletter recipients’ list, in which case your personal data will be deleted.

  1. UPDATE — MODIFICATION OF PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION DECLARATION

The Ministry of Finance/RRFA may update this declaration, in accordance with the respective legislative and regulatory framework. In this case, the updated version of the personal data protection declaration will be posted and available on the relevant website.
