This signalled a new era for peace, integration and democratic cooperation in Europe, laying the foundations for the European Union as we know it today.<\/p>\n<p>To commemorate the Declaration\u2019s 75th anniversary, events will take place throughout Europe, while the EU institutions invite citizens to visit their premises.<\/p>\n<p>The Representation of the European Commission in Greece will host this year\u2019s celebratory events on <strong>Friday, May 9th, in Rhodes and Kastelorizo<\/strong>.
