{"id":29560,"date":"2023-12-29T15:27:51","date_gmt":"2023-12-29T13:27:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/greece20.gov.gr\/?p=29560"},"modified":"2024-01-02T15:30:49","modified_gmt":"2024-01-02T13:30:49","slug":"3rd-payment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greece20.gov.gr\/en\/3rd-payment\/","title":{"rendered":"3rd payment to Greece under the\u00a0Recovery and Resilience Facility \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On December 28, 2023, the Commission <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/commission\/presscorner\/detail\/en\/ip_23_6827\">announced<\/a> the disbursement of the third payment to <strong>Greece<\/strong> under the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/commission.europa.eu\/business-economy-euro\/economic-recovery\/recovery-and-resilience-facility_en\">Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The payment amounts to <strong>\u20ac 3.64 billion<\/strong> (\u20ac 1.69 billion in non-repayable financial support and \u20ac 1.95 billion in loans, excluding pre-financing).<\/p>\n<p>On 16 May 2023 and on 22 November 2023, Greece submitted to the Commission the third request for payment for non-repayable support and the third request for payment for loans, respectively, covering 39 milestones and four targets.<\/p>\n<p>The overall recovery and resilience plan of Greece will be financed by <strong>\u20ac 35.95 billion<\/strong>, with \u20ac 18.22 billion in non-repayable support (grants) and \u20ac 17.73 billion in loans.<\/p>\n<p>Read more on the Greek recovery and resilience plan\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/commission.europa.eu\/business-economy-euro\/economic-recovery\/recovery-and-resilience-facility\/country-pages\/greeces-recovery-and-resilience-plan_en\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The amounts of payments made to Member States are published on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/economy_finance\/recovery-and-resilience-scoreboard\/index.html?lang=en\">Recovery and Resilience Scoreboard<\/a>, which shows the progress made in the implementation of the RRF as a whole and of the individual recovery and resilience plans.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On December 28, 2023, the Commission announced the disbursement of the third payment to Greece under the\u00a0Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF).
